Get ready for a safe, fun, and engaging summer at Penticton Safety Village!
Our camps are designed for children ages 5–12, offering a structured, supportive environment where kids can stay active, get creative, and build confidence while making new friends. New this year, we’re excited to offer full-day camps (8:30 AM – 3:00 PM)—giving campers even more time to enjoy a full mix of activities throughout the day. Each week features a unique theme, with a balance of outdoor play, group games, and creative projects.
We know that safety and comfort are top priorities for families. Our facility is fully fenced, with gates securely closed during camp hours, creating a controlled and supervised environment for all campers. We’ve also added additional shade coverage to help keep kids cool, and will be using our Firehouse space in the afternoons for indoor arts, crafts, and quieter activities.
To make camp accessible for families, we offer flexible, interest-free payment options. You can register now to secure your spot, and take advantage of time to spread out payments leading up to summer.
Spots are limited and fill quickly, secure your child’s place today and get ready for an incredible summer at the Village!

Age Requirements
Our summer camps are designed for children who have completed Kindergarten or who will be turning 6 by December 31 of the program year. We know some younger kids are eager and capable, but this age requirement is set by provincial regulations. Many summer camps across the province follow the same guidelines, and only licensed childcare programs are able to include children under school age.
What Does a Typical Camp Day Look Like?
While each week features a unique theme with different games and creative activities, our daily structure stays consistent—helping campers feel comfortable, confident, and settled into their routine.
8:30 – 9:00 AM | Drop-Off & Free Play
Campers arrive and ease into the day with supervised free time—perfect for exploring the Village, connecting with friends, and getting ready for the day ahead.
Morning Block | Active Play & Themed Activities
We kick things off with group games, outdoor activities, and hands-on experiences inspired by the weekly theme. This is when campers get moving, collaborating, and having fun together.
Midday | Lunch & Recharge
Campers take a break to enjoy their lunch, relax, and recharge before the afternoon.
Afternoon Block | Creative Time & Indoor Activities
In the afternoons, we transition into a mix of creative projects and quieter activities, often using our Firehouse space for arts, crafts, and themed activities in a cool, indoor environment.
2:30 – 3:00 PM | Pick-Up & Wind Down
We wrap up the day with flexible pick-up, giving campers time to wind down, reflect on their day, and head home happy.
