What is GoByBike Week?

GoByBike Week is a province-wide celebration of cycling that encourages people of all ages to ride their bikes for transportation, recreation, and fun. Participants log their rides, take part in challenges, and become eligible for prizes — all while building healthy habits and reducing their environmental footprint.

In Penticton, GoByBike Week
is a great way to:

  • Encourage everyday cycling

  • Build bike safety awareness

  • Celebrate active transportation in our community

A Hub for Schools

The Penticton Safety Village will now serve as the local hub for schools participating in GoByBike Week. Schools will be able to:

  • Collect or order school kits

  • Access resources that support safe cycling education

  • Connect GoByBike activities with broader safety learning

More details for schools will be shared as we prepare for Spring GoByBike Week.

The Penticton Safety Village is proud to be the new home of GoByBike Penticton. We’ve recently taken on the local coordination of this well-loved program and are excited to continue encouraging safe, active transportation in our community.

With our focus on hands-on learning and safety education, the Safety Village is a natural fit to support and grow GoByBike Penticton — connecting families, schools, and workplaces with the tools and confidence to choose cycling.
