Safety Legends - Grade 4 & 5

Service Description

Level 3 is designed for Grade 4 and 5 students to tackle real-world safety scenarios, building on earlier lessons while introducing advanced, hands-on challenges. This year’s program is packed with engaging activities to keep students motivated and confident. Students will: *Electrical Safety – Spot the Hazard: Identify hazards around the home and school to make safe decisions. *Updated Pedestrian Safety: Navigate roundabouts and traffic lights at our updated intersections, tied to cycling safety lessons. *Community Safety with RCMP: Explore ways to stay safe in the community and get an up-close look at a police cruiser (attendance may vary depending on operational demands). *Emergency Response with Ambulance Paramedics of BC: Participate in a hands-on first aid and emergency response workshop. Level 3 equips students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to handle emergencies, recognize dangers, and make smart decisions—preparing them to become Safety Legends. Level 3 is typically a half-day program, with flexibility for travel and school schedules. Cost: $40 per class, up to three classes per booking.
