Penticton Safety Village Summer Camps

Penticton Safety Village is excited to share we will be holding Kids' Summer Camps this year at the Safety Village!!

* Ages 5 - 12 (children have to already completed kindergarten to attend.  They must be turning 6 years old by December 31).

* All camps are half days with drop off from 8:30 am - 9am and pick up from 12:30 pm - 1 pm.

* Weekly Registration is $175 with the exception of short weeks (July 1st & Aug 4th will be closed for stat holidays). Short week registration will be $140. That works out to $35 a day.

* Daily activities will include open bike time, arts and crafts related to the weekly theme, and group games.

Creative Chaos Camp - Summer Camp Description

Get ready for a week of artistic freedom and musical fun at Creative Chaos Camp, where creativity takes center stage in the most exciting and colorful ways! This camp is all about exploring the worlds of art and music, where there’s no such thing as too much paint, too many beads, or too much rhythm. Whether you're an artist, a musician, or both, this camp will let your creativity run wild!

Campers will dive into a variety of hands-on art projects, including painting vibrant fence murals, crafting beautiful kindness rocks to spread positivity, designing unique beaded creations, and building their own wind chimes to make the world a little more musical. You'll also work together to create a collaborative masterpiece that celebrates the beauty of art in all its forms.

For the music lovers, there will be plenty of opportunities to make noise and create beautiful sounds in our natures instruments session, where you’ll craft instruments from natural materials, followed by jam sessions where you can show off your new creations. And when it's time to get your body moving, we'll have epic dance parties to groove to the beats and let loose!

Highlights:

• Fence Murals: Collaborate with fellow campers to create a large, colorful mural that brightens up the camp and shows off everyone's artistic talent.

• Kindness Rocks: Paint rocks with inspiring messages and positive designs to spread kindness and good vibes around the camp.

• Beading Creations: Design and make your own jewelry or decorations using colorful beads and fun patterns.

• Wind Chimes: Craft your own unique wind chimes that make beautiful music when the breeze blows.

• Nature’s Instruments: Create instruments from natural materials like sticks, stones, and leaves, and experiment with different sounds.

• Jam Sessions: Play together in impromptu musical jam sessions, sharing rhythms and creating unique songs.

• Dance Parties: Let loose and dance to the rhythm of the music in fun, high-energy dance parties with your fellow campers!
